Last updated: 15 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data PlanzEvo collects through planzevo.com, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 (PDPA).
1. Who we are
PlanzEvo ("we", "us") operates planzevo.com and the PlanzEvo Biz and event-planning products. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@planzevo.com.
2. What we collect
Waitlist and registration forms: your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, business name, district, business type, team size, preferred plan, and for event waitlists your event type, guest count, budget range and date.
Vendor registration: business details, categories, service areas and any text you choose to submit.
Usage data: anonymous analytics about how pages are used (pages viewed, button clicks, device type) through Google Analytics for Firebase.
We do not ask for payment card details on this website.
3. Why we use it
To add you to a waitlist, contact you about early access, onboarding and launch updates, and to improve our products and website.
We contact you only about PlanzEvo. We will not sell your personal data.
4. Legal basis
We process your data with your consent (which you give when you submit a form and tick the consent box) and to pursue our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers that host and run our systems, including Google Firebase (database, hosting and analytics) and Cloudflare (images and delivery). They process data only on our instructions.
We may disclose data where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
6. Where data is stored and how long we keep it
Data is stored with our cloud providers, which may process it outside Sri Lanka. We take steps to ensure it remains protected.
Waitlist data is kept until the launch programme ends or you ask us to delete it, whichever is sooner. Incomplete draft forms may be deleted after a reasonable period.
7. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, or to object to processing, by emailing support@planzevo.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in line with the PDPA.
You may also complain to the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.
8. Security
We use access controls, encrypted connections and restricted administrator access. No online system is completely secure, and we will notify affected people and the authority where the law requires.
9. Cookies and analytics
We use analytics tools that may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure usage. You can block these in your browser settings.
10. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
